J&K Government’s New Scheme Offers 5 Lakh for Girls, No Interest or Guarantor Required – Apply Now
The Jammu and Kashmir government has introduced the Tejaswani scheme, aiming to empower young women between the ages of 18 and 35 by offering financial assistance to kickstart their own businesses.
Under this initiative, eligible female entrepreneurs will receive a substantial sum of Rs 5 lakhs to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
The primary objective of the Tejaswani scheme is to support young women in establishing profitable self-employment ventures that align with their skills, training, aptitude, and local conditions.
By fostering entrepreneurship among young women, the government aims to promote economic growth and empowerment in the region.
Through collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Bank, female entrepreneurs will have access to financial assistance under the Mudra scheme, with a maximum limit of Rs 5 lakhs. To be eligible for the scheme, applicants must be domiciles of Jammu and Kashmir and possess a minimum educational qualification of matriculation or above.
